Apply for Data
The Mayi Kuwayu Study team want to ensure that the Mayi Kuwayu data can make as many positive changes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing as possible. As such, we want to support other organisations in conducting their own Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing studies.

To do this, you are asked to read the Applicant Guidelines and review Wave 1 Mayi Kuwayu Study data dictionary before filling out the Apply for Data form. This form is guided by the Maiam nayri Wingara Indigenous Data Sovereignty Principles. The Mayi Kuwayu Data Governance Committee (MKDGC) will review your application. If you are successful, the Mayi Kuwayu team will run your study’s analysis and provide you with the results. This process ensures our data is safe, confidential, accessible, and your study is protective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander data.
Each data request can be unique and distinctive and may require several levels of analysis. To discuss your request and the requirements of your data analysis, please call the Mayi Kuwayu Study on 1800 531 600 or write to mkdgc@anu.edu.au
